Cheap. Tasty. Better for takeout. Visited Great Wall at about 5pm today. We ordered take out and then just waited about 5-10 minutes in the lobby for it to get done. When you walk in, the front of the store is kind of cluttered, and not extremely clean. I'm pretty sure a saw a few noodles on the floor. They have a very small dining room, with maybe about 10 tables. It smells like greasy Chinese food inside, and I can't say that I'd like to eat here. We ordered the Saigon Rice Noodles, and General So's Chicken. Both were very tasty, and there was plenty to feed three adults and then some. I would defiantly order this again. I was close to giving Great Wall 4 stars because of the tasty food, but because of the disorder, uncleanliness, and broken signs, it dropped to 3.

I eat plenty of Chinese from several places. I am qualified to say this place is a good option. Not fancy inside but the food was good. Dumplings were the thicker wrapped variety. I prefer the Taiwanese style but the filling was good. Hunan chicken hit the spot. My son like the pork with broccoli. I would eat here again.

On a Saturday afternoon I used their online site to order three dishes for pickup: Beef chow fun, chicken and shrimp with mixed vegetables, and barbecue duck. I also wanted to try their wonton egg drop soup and one of the shrimp spring rolls. I'm totally impressed. I've tried beef chow fun from places all over the East Coast including New York City, and this is among the top three best beef chow fun I've ever tried. Likewise, the egg drop wonton soup was way more flavorful than many others I've had. The online ordering system was extremely easy to use. For sure I will be ordering from here and eating their food again. Highly recommended.

Have eaten from here multiple times while in town. We have always been pleased. The shrimp fried rice has lots of large shrimp, the egg rolls are typical and everything else is really good. Yes it is take out Chinese food. But it is good take out Chinese food.

I have ordered take-out from Great Wall several times. I like the online ordering option, and pick-up was easy. The food was delicious! I have had their combination fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, General Tso's, Egg Rolls, and all of them have been delicious for take out. I was a little disappointed that I was charged for extra sweet and sour sauce when requested, but I guess that is not too surprising. Overall the service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious.

Such a disappointment. We stopped buying there two years ago, but decided to give them one more try because we liked the owners. Our hopes were crushed. The Hot and Sour Soup was bland and tasted like dishwater. The Beef and Broccoli was so poorly prepared my wife threw it out after a few bites. I ordered the Moo She Shrimp. Not only was it poorly prepared, the little but I ate gave me heartburn all night. $35 down the drain! We could have had better food at Taco Bell. Never again.

General Tso's chicken had no spice or heat at all so was disappointed. Seems to be the norm in the area! But taste was ok. Shrimp fried rice was underwhelming, tiny shrimp, not many. There are better and there are worse places within ten minutes. Tried twice but not a third time.

I can't say that it's the worst I've ever had. The stuff in the frozen section at Wal Mart is a little worse, though more convenient. But then I do know some who swear by the food here. If you like bland food with no texture, this place is for you.

The food is pretty good, but I've only had the sesame tofu and egg foo yung. It isn't a restaurant for eating in - very cramped. The staff sit in the dining area and work: food prep, etc., so that is off-putting.

A no frillz Chinese take-out joint, I see a lot of locals going in here but I often go else where for Chinese (like China Fortune about 5min from there).

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
